MYRNA LOY: Second strike

Automatic translation. Improvements are constantly being worked on.

Myrna Loy shut down her project in 1994 – but since the end of last year, the almost lost sound jewels have been polished up again. In December, Myrna Loy’sdebut album was released digitally for the first time. Now comes the second prank: the album “Time Says Helay”, released 35 years ago, will be available online for the first time from August 1, 2025 via – nomen est omen – Lost Albums. Myrna Loy already wowed us with her unique sound a few months ago when we reported on the release of her first album.(You can read about it here). Technically even more sophisticated and yet still playful, experimental and absolutely unique, “Time Says Helay” is at least as exciting as the first album, including a wealth of bonus material with intense live versions, demo songs and dub mixes. Then as now, it is virtually impossible to categorize the genre. Ambient, dark wave, pop rock or something completely different? It’s best for everyone to make up their own mind!

You will soon find a detailed review of the album and an interview with Myrna Loy here!
