I have long been fascinated by the idea that, to put it simply, the universe doesn’t care about us humans as irrelevant specks of dust.” Summing up, Christian explains: “‘Aura Nera’ symbolizes for me a darkness that has been almost palpable in the air for some time, especially politically. But the album is also about feverish passions, my insomnia, nihilistic scraps of thought, fears of doom, vampiristic road movie images. I also deconstructed my own points of view from the 90s.
