HATEFUL CHAINS: Goth rock with post-punk sprinkles from Finland
SPONSORED POST

Hateful Chains from Finland are celebrating their tenth anniversary this year. When the band was founded, front woman Flora Kok had just finished her studies to become a classical singer when she started looking for fellow musicians. There she met guitarist Kimmo Laaksonen. “We started producing the songs together and looking for other band members,” she recalls. Together, the two quickly found other companions. This ultimately led to the second album “Lambs and Goats”, which we will be talking to Flor about in more detail shortly.
On May 23, 2026, Hateful Chains will perform at 20:00 in the Moritzbastei at this year’s Wave-Gotik-Treffen.
