LOBOTOMY WORKING GROUP: Synths, Goth, and Fetish
With “Das große Beben,” the band Arbeitsgruppe Lobotomie reveals a surprisingly pop-oriented side. The Munich-based band combines its electronic DNA with driving goth-pop-punk, catchy melodies, and their usual biting lyrics. Rather than blind conformity, the song addresses social apathy, functioning within the system, and the courage to break free.
For the official video, the band brought Russian fetish model Iuliia_Strix on board. The result is a surreal visual world that underscores the song’s uncompromising character. “Das große Beben” is thus not only unusually catchy, but is also likely to cause quite a few visual aftershocks.
