AVAWAVES without words about a new world

Anna Phoebe comes from Hamburg, but lives in Scotland. The violinist has composed for the Royal Ballet School, the European Space Agency and Cancer Research UK, among others. The artist Aisling Brouwer, who lives in London and Berlin, has created the film music for “The Buccaneers”, “White Riot” and “Savage Waters”. Together they are Avawaves and create incredibly cinematic pieces on their new album “Heartbeat”. The two women tell us more about it in our May/June issue.
