The artwork, with its deep red hue, already conveys a sense of intensity. Bael Blackwood focuses on a sound rooted in NDH, industrial, and gothic. Metallic heaviness and catchy melodies carry this apocalyptically dark atmosphere, complete with powerful riffs, atmospheric synthesizers, and a critical view of the world. As insurmountable as hatred and destruction may seem, the album doesn’t stop at merely wallowing in them. Instead, you can lose yourself carefree in the gripping sounds. In addition to the album version, there is a single version titled “Aschemeer (feat. Halber Sohn)” featuring guest vocals by Kevin Spiegel. A sea worth diving into and emerging from.
