BEN BLUTZUKKER restores metal honor!
SPONSORED POST

Sometimes something good can come out of New Year’s Eve nostalgia chart shows. At least in the case of Ben Blutzukker, who was horrified to see Cindy and Bert’s version of Black Sabbath’s“Paranoid” as “The Hound of the Baskervilles”. There must be a better way! No sooner said than done. And so he has taken on no fewer than 14 songs whose German interpretations are miles away from the originals. The result is “Laut und deutschlich” – a very special cover album that gives these songs back their metal sound. He also received support from friends for some of the songs: Mambo Kurt, Nino Sable, Voodoma and Schuster. Ian Curtis is no longer turning in his grave when he hears his Joy Division song“Love Will Tear Us Apart” as “Then love is a vicious circle”.
