BESEECH: Between beauty and despair
With their new single “Boundless Space”, Beseech herald the start of their new album, which is due to be released later this year. With the reunion of Erik and Lotta – both responsible for the vocals – the band’s history is now being continued. The gothic metallers naturally remain aware of their roots, but are also breaking new ground. Sad ballads and heavy, gloomy riffs mark their new path, always on the fine line between beauty and despair.
When asked about the new single, the band replies. “‘Boundless Space’ is a very special moment for us – it’s the return of vocal duo Erik and Lotta after more than a decade apart. When we started writing again, it felt natural to get back to the dark, atmospheric foundation that defines our sound, but we also wanted to bring in new energy. The song combines heavy, driving guitars with an almost uplifting momentum, but still retains the melancholic and shadowy core that has always been part of our identity.”
