The tarot is one of countless oracles designed to provide an insight into the unpredictable: The design of the cards combines the symbolism of ancient secret teachings with contemporary themes and ideas and can therefore depict any situation in life. They have been used by philosophers, theologians, fortune tellers, occultists and famous secret societies. The Tower, card no. XVI, heralds radical change and upheaval, but also liberation from deadlocked circumstances. – So what card could be more fitting for the start of the new year than “The Tower”?
