With “Home”, Blossom Cult from the Ruhr area present their first longplayer – an ambitious concept album in the field of tension between alternative and progressive metal. The band combines technical finesse with emotional depth and tackles themes such as disorientation, polarization and withdrawal into the private sphere. In the chapters “Red”, “Black” and “White Pill”, a dense dramaturgy unfolds between anger, resignation and inner transformation. Hard riffs meet atmospheric passages and catchy hooks, as in “No More Heroes”. Top-class guests successfully round off this versatile, intense work.
