CHRIS CONNELLY: Pays Tribute to LOU REED
Scottish-born, Chicago-based musician Chris Connelly ( who has performed with Ministry, Revolting Cocks, and Pigface , among others) offers a first glimpse of his new album with the single “House of 70’s” “Doo Wop in the Dark: A Portrait of Lou Reed,” which is dedicated to the life and work of the rock legend. On the album, he combines his own compositions with songs by Lou Reed. Together with Alan Berliant and Chris Bruce, he has created a musical tribute to Reed’s turbulent years in New York, his sarcasm, his love of experimentation, and his formative influence on rock music. The album will be released on October 16, 2026.
