CHRIS HARMS on a solo path towards synth pop?

Now that Chris Harms is well known from Lord of the Lost, the busy artist has fulfilled a dream of his own: A solo album that goes in a completely different direction to what we have been used to from him so far. On “1980”, which will be released on January 31, 2025, he devotes himself primarily to synth pop and – nomen est omen – the sounds of the 1980s. Chris Harms himself says: “If I were forced to put this album in a drawer and label it, it would probably say “a strange but successful mixture of Depeche Mode, Modern Talking and Sandra with the voice of Chris Harms, but with less perm and mullet”.
