With “PATH I – RISING”, CNVX present a cheeky and self-confident EP that is fun and never seems flat. Their mix of modern metal and electronic music is their unique selling point. Already in the first song “Equality”, singer France shows her broad vocal spectrum, which ranges from harmonious clear singing to snotty vocal passages and dark growls. “My Darkest Days” cuts a similar figure and is particularly deep lyrically. “Face My Fear” is musically epic and “Oceans Embrance” ends “PATH I – RISING” with a brilliant bang. This is what modern electronic metal sounds like today!
