ENTGEIST: Atmospheric Black Metal

Automatic translation. Improvements are constantly being worked on.

With “Welk,” Entgeist once again bridges the gap between atmospheric and classic black metal. Harmonious melodies meet powerful guitars, frenzied drums, and intense vocals that lend the German-language lyrics a particularly dark tone. Thematically, the new album tackles major themes: life, death, and transience run through the songs like a baroque motif. Melancholic moments clash with raw aggression, creating a soundscape that is as dark as it is expressive. With “Welk,” Entgeist thus reveals a particularly powerful yet contemplative side of themselves.
