Ghosther was formed in 2019, although the original band formed in 2015, but under a different name. Andy explains the band name: It “evolved from the term ‘to ghast someone’ and consists of the words ‘ghost’ and ‘her’. In the early days, our music was often referred to as ‘female fronted’, which always bothered us, because that doesn’t describe a genre at all.” We talk to Ghosther in our May/June issue.
