– Amy Lee studied music at Middle Tennessee State University, but dropped out after founding Evanescence with Ben Moody in 1995.
– Amy Lynn Lee was already writing music at the age of eleven.
– She started playing the piano even earlier: She was six years old at the time.
– In 2006, she made a guest appearance in a music video for Johnny Cash’s“God’s Gonna Cut You Down”. In the scene, which was recorded in the “Trinity Church” in Manhattan, she lays flowers on a grave.
– She recorded the duet “Freak on Leash” with Jonathan Davis(Korn) in 2006.
