Happy Birthday DAVE STEWART!

We wish former Eurythmics mastermind Dave Stewart all the best for his 73rd birthday! Most importantly, after that time he made a name for himself not only as a producer, but also as a solo artist. For example, we reported on this in our fall 2022 issue.

Did you already know these 5 facts?

– Dave Stewart met Annie Lennox in 1976. They became a couple and released a single as The Catch.

– This gave rise to the group Tourists, which disbanded in 1980. Annie and Dave also parted ways, but continued to work together.

– In 1980, they founded Eurythmics.

– They released perhaps their most famous album “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” in 1983

– They disbanded in 1990, but came together again in 1999 and 2005 for individual projects.
