– The Canadian released her first album “Elemental” in 1985. – And she does it all single-handedly with her own label Quinlan Road.
– It has been awarded gold and platinum in 15 countries on four continents.
– In the course of her almost 40-year career, she has sold more than 14 million albums.
– On the occasion of her golden jubilee in 2002, Loreena McKennitt performed for Queen Elizabeth I and then dined with her and the court.
– In 2013, she was made a Knight of the National Order of Arts and Letters by the French Republic and has numerous honorary titles.
