Today Peter Tägtgren(Hypochrisy, Pain) celebrates his 51st birthday. We wish him all the best!

Did you know?

– Peter Tägtgren began playing drums at the age of 17, later adding guitar, electric bass and keyboard.

– During the recording of the Pain album“Dancing with the Dead” (2005), he suffered a brief cardiac arrest. The near-death experience inspired the album title.

– Peter’s son Sebastian played drums on the Pain album“Coming Home” (2016).

– In addition to his work as the frontman of Hypochrisy and Pain, he took over Abyss Studio in 1994, where he worked as a producer with Dimmu Borgir, Amon Amarth and Sabaton, among others.

– The studio is located in Pärlby, Sweden, where Peter has not only lived for over 30 years, but also serves as mayor.
