IN EXTREMO: wake the dead!

Three years after their last album, In Extremo loudly announce their return with the single “Weckt die Toten”. With that, they create an illustrious mix of metal riffs, hypnotizing medieval melodies and a danceable Electro-Punk groove which is quite something. Fronter Micha Rhein remembers: “At some point we noticed that ‘Weckt die Toten’ has no title song. So we recorded one now. I think the song is a nice homage to this band and our career. We have a past that we can be really proud of. After 25 years, we can allow ourselves a song like this. We’ve always had great fun trying new things and always evolving.” And this much is already said: The formation is currently working feverishly on a new album.
