Infektum bitterly lard their debut album “Schicksal” with nothing but life itself. And that can be cruel. Or is it “fate”? What begins as a romance between two people quickly turns out to be anything but rosy. In twelve stories, the main story is visibly developed, but each song also works wonderfully on its own. The genre? Neue Deutsche Härte, which is characterized by Stephan Schütt’s rough, characteristic voice. In addition to the predominantly rocky, powerful pieces, there is also a break with the title track, which gives Infektum a broader spectrum.
