Into the Mist’s fourth album “Phalena” shows just how timeless gothic rock is. The Romans create a homely feeling that indulges between The Sisters of Mercy and Bauhaus without copying the cult bands. Into the Mist remain true to their band name and create darkly romantic, foggy soundscapes. They imagine us in the vastness of “Dark Willows”, tell the story of “Lilith Comes at Night” or bathe ourselves in “Tenebra”, i.e. darkness. “Phalena – The Tale of the Child in the Woods” is just as enthralling in English as it is in the Italian version “Falena – La favola del bambino nel bosco”.
