Jesus on Extasy return with an uncompromising sound: industrial, cutting guitars and raw emotions. The single “Somewhat Happy” offers a first taste, which mastermind Dorian Deveraux describes as “the apocalyptic song after a break-up that you didn’t know you needed”. It’s about “how to move on after a traumatic relationship that left your world in ruins as you slowly gain clarity and see your ex-partner for who they really are.” The accompanying album “Between Despair and Disbelief” will be released on September 12, 2025 via Metropolis Records.
