Kim Wilde’ssecond studio album “Select” was released on May 10, 1982. The first single, “Cambodia”, already signaled a different sound to what we were used to from the British artist. The electronic synthesizer sound was very different from the rock sound of her previous album. For DK and FI, “Select” was obviously a good choice and reached number 1 in the charts, in SW 2, FR 3, DE 4 and GB 19.
