Krieg-B combines the best of France and Belgium – if we’re talking about dark EBM. Behind the band are Dominique Lallement, who has already made a name for himself with Kriegbereit, Cobalt 60 – together with Jean-Luc de Meyer from Front 242 – and K-Bereit, and Benoît Buyse, who is also no stranger to projects such as Dreadfool, Anamorphosis and Nihiliste. Krieg-B was founded in June 2023, and the debut album “War Drums’ Resonance” was released the following year. Dominique explains: “There is also a clear connection to a certain vision of the industrial scene, especially that of Front 242. We identify with this idea of a band as a direct unit, almost military in its stage presence. The image of the ‘musical commando’ mentioned by Patrick Codenys fits very well with the way we work: We come, we play, we deliver the energy and then we disappear again.”

The band will be playing at this year’s Wave-Gotik-Treffen, and we will shortly be talking to them in depth about their latest album and taking a look into the future.
