L’0nde N0IRe: Sensually dark aggrotech from Greece

Automatic translation. Improvements are constantly being worked on.

Aggrotech with a dark, futuristic edge—that’s what L’0nde N0IRe from Greece stands for. The spelling, in which the “o”s are replaced with zeros, not only looks more striking, “but also evokes one of the central ideas behind the project: The greatest danger to humanity does not come from the machines themselves, but from the mechanization of humans. “That was also the central theme of my first album, ‘Cl0ckw0rk Human,’” explains the artist. The project explores themes such as technology, identity, media, ideology, and the question of the boundary between reality and simulation. The album “Tech N0ir,” released this summer, focuses on the nocturnal, urban world, while his latest work, “Music for the Mass,” is more clearly influenced by synth-pop and gives free rein to melancholy.
