Lightshifters are Marthe Borge-Lunde Pfirrmann from Norway and Michael Pfirrmann from Germany, who have been living in Norway since the end of 2024. The project was founded in Lübeck in 2012. Just one year after the release of their best-of “The In-Between Years”, Lightshifters deliver new audio material. This comes in the form of the EP “All Life’s Absurdities”, in which the Norwegian/German duo is characterized by atmospheric contrasts: Organic electronic sounds combine with powerful vocals to create atmospheric darkwave with synthpop elements.
