LUCKYANDLOVE: Dream-Electro from Los Angeles

LUCKYANDLOVE will release their third album, “Humaura”, on October 31, 2025. The band explains that the title is “defined as the atmosphere that emanates from the feelings of the human spirit without technical control”. The Los Angeles-based synthwave duo already presented us with a sensual, retro-futuristic treat with “Lonely at Night”. It puts you in a melancholy dream state and has enough space to work. LUCKYANDLOVE – consisting of Loren Luck and April Love – impress with their analog live synth beats and also see themselves as a raw sound experiment.

Moving on to “Lonely at Night,” Love explains, “Imagine an empty dorm room where almost everyone has gone on vacation and the character has been left almost completely alone in a haunted dorm building. The track speeds up at the end, with guitars and harmonies making for a happy finale.” Luck adds: “Loneliness is deadly. The song describes human feelings of loneliness and reconnection. We are social beings who need human interaction in the flesh. Life is more beautiful when you can share it with someone. The trappings of modernity hold people captive.
