MAYFLOWER MADAME: Dreamy post punk from Norway

The Norwegian band Mayflower Madame will release their third album “Insight” on November 1, 2024. In it, the duo paints a picture of pulsating post-punk, shimmering shoegaze and atmospheric psych noir. The album itself is dedicated to frontman Trond Fagernes’ stillborn daughter, which is also cathartically addressed in two songs. However, “Insight” also conveys completely different feelings and presents itself as a multi-faceted soundscape. In our next issue, we talk to the band.
