The new album “Insight” by Mayflower Madame is imbued with an unspeakable melancholy. The cool post-punk sounds sometimes digress into the psychedelic and speak of suffering, pain, but also hope. “Insight” is an incredibly personal album, as it is dedicated to singer Trond Fagernes’ stillborn daughter.
