MÖTLEY CRÜE: On Stage in an intimate atmosphere?
30 June 2023, London, Underworld Camden
What was disguised in the flyer as “Dögs of War” turned out to be a secret club show of Mötley Crüe on Friday night at London’s Underworld Camden Club! 450 lucky fans could experience there a unique gig in a location where many bands play their first gig. In a familiar and cozy atmosphere. “This wasn’t the first time we played a secret club show, and it definitely won’t be the last,” the band exulted with a grin.

Part of their setlist were of course anthems like “Shout at the Devil”, “Dr. Feelgood” and “Girls Girls Girls”, including the new cover song from the Beastie Boys called “Fight for Your Right”. London fans have never been allowed to get this close to the band in the UK: Vince Neil on the mic, Nikki Sixx on bass, Tommy Lee behind the drums and John 5 on guitar, while the club’s amps pounded out hit after hit with raw intensity.

And what’s the deal with “Dögs of War”? Well, this is a new Mötley Crüe song that was recently recorded – with some other tracks – in the studio. So we can remain curious.
