With “Burning Lust”, Motel Transylvania are literally addictive. The Italian quartet creates an explosive mixture of industrial metal and dark rock, and is 100% suitable for the dancefloor. The release as a single is based on the desire to pay homage to a festival that is very close to Motel Transylvania ‘s heart: the “Burning Pants” festival in Hude, the BDSM and fetish rock festival. Toxi explains: “This is our third time on the festival stage. As you can imagine, it’s extremely difficult for a completely independent band to even get a response from the organizers, but from day one they believed in us thanks to the debut single “Generation Lost”. We started as openers and now we’re playing right before the headliners! It’s crazy because I have to make a game of looks with everyone in the audience and I LOVE recognizing friendly faces from one edition to the next. It’s nice to see knowing smiles, you enter into a dialog through the music and share magical moments with even more magical people.”

Aropos “Liebe”: The German word also appears in the song “Burning Lust” and has a double meaning: “A large part of our compositions arise from a more or less tormented, physical and tangible love. In this case, however, the connection to the festival returns, as ‘LOVE’ is the name of the stage on which we have performed since the very first show. And I mean … there is no love without a bit of burning desire.” What do Motel Transylvania associate with Germany? “Germany is a second home for us, a place we respect and where we always feel respected. A creative breeding ground where we can express ourselves and share experiences with exceptional musicians,” Toxi concludes our conversation.
