NIGHT RITUALZ: Dark wave meets synthpunk
Based in the Texan city of San Antonio, dark wave/synthpunk solo artist Night Ritualz (aka Vincent Guerrero IV) has deep roots in Mexican culture and weaves Tejano influences into his songs. He mixes English and Spanish lyrics in his music, which combines atmospheric soundscapes with pulsating beats to tell stories that are both deeply personal and universally relatable. He describes his self-titled album as “a time marker of my musical journey. The songs are all very different and I feel like it’s a good representation of myself and where I am at this point in my life.” – We spoke to Night Ritualz in our March/April issue.
