Ocinn’s album “Nebelgeister” paints dark soundscapes. It is introduced atmospherically by “Ich eile ins Nichts”, in which the dark piano music is accompanied by ghostly whispers that give you goosebumps. It also ends harmoniously with the spoken words “In the realm of the misty spirits”. It is the piano that sets the tone and draws mystical places shrouded in mist before your inner eye, which become a little clearer with each track. Cinematic with its very own dramaturgy, “Nebelgeister” seems sublime above everything and somehow detached from time and space.
