ODC convince with a fresh note of alternative metal in “Twisted Love”. The title track creates friction, as Cecilia’s angelic vocals blend with male chanting to create an explosive mixture. But to the beginning. “Twisted Love” begins with “My Only Fan”, a powerful piece full of expressiveness, followed by the emotional, ballad-like “Love, I Tore It Apart”. “My Name Is Gold” turns out to be particularly heavy and “I Need to Breath” bubbles over with a wealth of facets. “Twisted Love” ends surprisingly with the Spanish-language “Despecha”, which (also) makes you want to press “repeat” afterwards.
