On Stage: XANDRIA

November 29, 2023, Nuremberg, Hirsch
Support: Phantom Elite, Skarlett Riot
After Skarlett Riot and Phantom Elite had successfully won the favor of the audience, the main act got underway. Xandria immediately set the audience on fire. This was certainly also due to the fact that the musicians regularly changed their position on stage and interacted with the audience. Singer Ambre always used the entire stage from left to right, from the front edge of the stage up to the drummer, and many songs were announced by her with a little anecdote (mostly in English). Numerous pieces from the new album “The Wonders Still Awaiting” were played, as well as classics and of course the hit “Nightfall”.
Xandria succeeded seemingly effortlessly in bringing the sometimes very complex sound to the stage in a perfect and rocking way, rounded off by an action-packed stage presence, a varied light show including fountains of fog up to the hall ceiling and an impressive laser show. Towards the end of the concert, mastermind Marco Heubaum took the floor and thanked the audience (in German) in a moving way for their loyalty, the success of the new album and for attending today’s concert. You could only see beaming and satisfied faces on and in front of the stage, and so a successful concert evening at the Hirsch in Nuremberg came to an end.
