The new single from Deep Imagination is very gentle on the ears. Not every change has to come with a bang. Rather, it is the small refinements that ensure constant further development. While guitarist Achim von Raesfeld supported the one-man project on the previous album, Ann Kareen Mainz lends her angelic voice to “Realm of the Raven”. In a duet with mastermind Thorsten Sudler-Mainz, she creates a fairy-like atmosphere somewhere between cool dark wave and atmospheric ambient with gloomy gothic elements.
