The cult effect is in full effect, because anyone who thinks of the Berlin gothic greats Marquee Moon (1984-1997) when they hear the name Nigel Degray is absolutely right. As the self-titled debut album already made clear, this nostalgia can certainly be indulged in, but independence is by no means neglected. The Degray Effect ‘s second album, entitled “Why Not?”, is versatile, with a sound that combines gothic, punk and alternative.
