The EP “Estrangement” by In Mitra Medusa Inri sounds like melancholy turned into music that manifests itself in post-punk. The Last Dancer” already has an uncanny strength. Memories” is thoughtful but propulsive. “Between the Worlds” is the perfect song for the next post-punk party and draws you onto the dance floor despite its dark theme – being caught between the past and the future. “Gone Too Soon” is particularly touching and can bring tears to your eyes. But they are quickly wiped dry again with the energetic “You’ll Be Mine”! And now? – Repeat!
