After Kim Ljung and Alex Møklebust split up from Seigmen , they lived in Villa Carlotta in Hollywood to form a new band. Kim remembers: “At first we were called Flirt. We knew that wouldn’t last, so we kept searching while we wrote the material for ‘Clone Your Lover’. Until we mixed two book titles together: we found ‘Less than Zero’ by Bret Easton Ellis and ‘Neuromancer’ by William Gibson on the bookshelf in our own apartment.” Voila: Zeromancer was born.
