DEPECHE MODE 8 years ago: Backwards!?

Automatic translation. Improvements are constantly being worked on.

It was exactly 8 years ago to the day that “Going Backwards” was released. It was one of the first Depeche Mode songs to be written during the work on “Spirit”. It was clear to the band that this should also be the album opener and the single release. With this composition – as with “Where’s the Revolution” – Depeche Mode make a clear socio-critical, political statement. Incidentally, “Going Backwards” has been played live 136 times so far.
