Ghost Reflections from Turin captivate listeners with atmospheric gothic rock sounds on their debut EP, “I Am I.” The Italian duo Mir and Murmur developed the project in early 2026 based on some verses written by Mir. The band’s name refers to the hidden facets of one’s own identity—and at the same time to Mir’s passion for photography and the so-called “Ghost Reflections” that can occur during long exposures. “I Am I” was chosen as the title track because it was the first song they produced together and also defined the project’s signature sound. Lyrically, the song explores personal identity and the question of what remains of us if we have no descendants.
