Did you know?
– In 1985, he founded the band Tarot together with his brother Zachary.
– From 2001 to 2021 Marko Hietala was the bassist and singer of Nightwish.
– Marko studied bass for two years and vocals and classical guitar for three years. He spent five years studying music theory.
– He has also trained as a sound engineer.
– Marko Hietala released his first solo album “Mustan Sydämen Rovio” in 2019.
