Today Carl McCoy (Fields of the Nephilim) celebrates his 60th birthday. We wish him all the best!
Did you know?
– Carl McCoy grew up with his religious mother, who was a follower of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
– This later provided a perfect subject for his band Fields of the Nephilim, so that he critically examined the faith in numerous songs.
– Carl sees himself as a heathen.
– In 1984 he founded Fields of the Nephilim, where he left in 1991. Since 1998 the band has been active again with Carl McCoy.
– The last album was released in 2012.
