BEN BLUTZUKKER – “Loud and German”

Restoring metal honor
BEN BLUTZUKKER
“Laut und deutschlich“
Album (in-house production)
Who hasn’t experienced the frustration of listening to a bad cover song, preferably from the sixties and seventies? Strangely orchestrated, infected by Schlager, and the German translation is often miles off the mark. Ben Blutzukker has given 14 of these mistreated songs back the metal part that was sorely missed in the German version! Musically as well as vocally – because his rough vocal organ almost screams “metal”! Cindy and Bert’s “Der Hund von Baskerville” (“The Hound of the Baskervilles”), which now has its origins in Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid”. – Just “loud and German”.
