PEAK FLOW: British synth sounds with a post-punk flair

Automatic translation. Improvements are constantly being worked on.

With their new remix version of “Don’t Die in Your Sleep”, British duo Peak Flow not only bring a breath of fresh air to their sound, which is located somewhere between synth, industrial and post-punk, but also a large portion of darkness. The song is about the sudden death of a close friend. It deals with grief, helplessness and guilt. “All our songs are about different emotions that occur in life and we try to write songs that are powerful and catchy,” the two explain.

Peak Flow were founded in Doncaster in 2023 by singer and lyricist Jools and instrumentalist James. Musical influences from synth bands of the eighties and industrial formations of the nineties as well as post-punk groups such as The Jesus and Mary Chain or Joy Division can be felt, but not directly heard.
