PINHEAD: Ghosts of the past?

Automatic translation. Improvements are constantly being worked on.

For several years, ideas for songs gathered in Ilja John Lappin (The Hirsch Effekt) during difficult phases of his life. But these ideas were so personal that he wanted to deal with them on his own and set them to music away from his band The Hirsch Effekt. This is how the solo project Pinhead was born, which is now releasing its debut album “Egomessiah”. “The last few years have been pretty difficult for me and I’ve been carrying things around with me for a long time that I’ve never fully processed. These songs – which I see as the ghosts of my past – were written over a long period of time and just had to come out of me,” explains the classically trained multi-instrumentalist in our March/April issue.
