Pink Turns Blue’s new single “Stay for the Night” is hypnotizing and danceable. Perhaps a romantic song at first glance, on closer listening it turns out to be a hymn to friendship. Mastermind Mic explains: “This is also a love song to the post-punk/goth rock community that has been with us all these years. Very often we stay for the after-show party and immerse ourselves in the very open-minded and diverse dancing crowd. This is our home. After the show, we can just close our eyes and let the music and our friends take us away… All we need is love. All we need is friends.” The accompanying music video is full of powerful symbolism. “Stay for the Night” is another single that announces the new studio album “Black Swan”, which will be released on February 28, 2025. In our next issue, we will be conducting an in-depth interview with Pink Turns Blue.
