With “This Search for Meaning”, Placebo have created an intimate documentary. It shows the band’s journey from their subversive beginnings to the present day, while also addressing sexuality, addiction, trauma and environmental issues. The documentary consists of unpublished interviews with Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, studio recordings of their latest album “Never Let Me Go” and archive material with interviews with David Bowie and Robbie Williams, to name but a few, who have spoken out about Placebo. The film has so far only been shown in selected cinemas.
