Rock am Ring and Telekom join forces

Stable network and livestream enhance the festival experience

When more than 90,000 people gather at the Nürburgring from June 5 to 7, 2026, it will be about more than just another sold-out chapter in festival history. Together with Telekom , Rock am Ring is relying on a digital infrastructure that also does justice to the exceptional situation from a technical perspective – with stable network coverage on site and a free live stream for all those who cannot be part of this collective moment on site.

Radio silence was yesterday

Deutsche Telekom is creating new capacity precisely where the network has so far reached its limits. Additional mobile phone masts stabilize the connection even in the midst of dense crowds. Impressions and news can be shared without delay – and just as importantly, you can stay connected with your ring rockers, find each other reliably, never miss a meeting point and remain part of the shared experience.

At the same time, the festival is once again opening up to the digital dimension. The Utopia and Mandora Stage will be broadcast live in high quality via MagentaMusik and MagentaTV . What unfolds on the Ring can thus be experienced not only on site, but also on screens – directly, in high quality and without any loss of distance. Telekom is also enhancing the digital experience with exclusive additional content. Interviews, accompanying live formats and insights behind the scenes open up exciting perspectives on the action at the Nürburgring.

Festival feeling for everyone

“We bring the unique festival feeling of Rock am Ring directly to the people – live, intense and full of emotion,” explains Telekom TV boss Arnim Butzen. A claim that consistently takes the fusion of physical experience and digital presence one step further.

While guitar riffs cut through the Eifel and bands such as Linkin Park, Iron Maiden, Bad Omens and Electric Callboy send the audience into ecstasy, this echo does not end at the Nürburgring, but has an effect far beyond its geographical borders.

Rock am Ring redefines what a modern festival feels like – live on site and digitally networked.
